When We Are Closed

out of hoursWhen the Surgery is closed there are a number of options available to you.

-access our new eConsult service to get continually updated health related advice, self referral to physiotherapy and counselling and GP advice, treatment and administrative help (e.g. ordering of sick notes and reporting of results) by the end of the next working day.

-access your local community pharmacy. Pharmacists are being increasingly trained to diagnose and treat common minor ailments where appropriate.

-get advice from an out of hours clinician by calling 111 if the above options are not appropriate and urgent assistance is genuinely required before the surgery opens. Further information about calling 111 is provided in the above web portal.

Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
