Clinical Research – Did you know that we take part in NHS research?
St Neots Surgery is proud to be involved in clinical research studies within primary care.
Our practice is actively involved in clinical research as part of the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Clinical Research Network for the South West Peninsula, as well as selected commercial research studies.
Taking part in research helps us improve the quality of care we provide by contributing to new knowledge, treatments, and ways of delivering healthcare. Research not only benefits future patients but can also enhance the care of those who take part.
Many of our patients who have joined research studies tell us they find the experience rewarding, knowing they are making a valuable contribution to the future of healthcare.
If you are eligible for a study, a member of our team may contact you with further information. Participation is always voluntary, and your care will not be affected if you choose not to take part.
Dr Davies is research lead for the practice and part of Waterside PCN. We also have 2 research nurses, Lucy Wood and Zoe Hope, working across our network. Some studies may also be supported by research nurses from the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Clinical Research Network for the South West Peninsula.
