We also offer routine phone / video appointments on alternate Monday and Tuesday evenings, 6:30pm to 7:30pm and alternate Saturday mornings, 8am to 10:30am, for patients who find it difficult to access an appointment during our normal opening times.
Patients should be aware that during these additional sessions, the surgery will not be open for any other business.
Please note you can use our new eConsult service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to get regularly updated health related information, self referral to physiotherapy and counselling and GP advice, treatment and administrative help (such as ordering of sick notes and reporting of results) by the end of the next working day.
Please note that whilst the phone lines are not open between 1pm and 2pm, the front door remains open for reception desk queries.
If you need help when we are closed
If you need medical help now, use NHS 111 online or call 111.
NHS 111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.
Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.
Push Doctor
Do you need to see a doctor, but couldn’t get in this week? Do you need to speak to a doctor this weekend?
We can now offer phone/video consultation appointments in the evenings and weekends via Push Doctor. Push Doctor is a group of GPs who have access to our computer system so they can see your past medical history and prescriptions etc. they are able to treat you over the phone via phone/video.
To book an evening/weekend appointment with Push Doctor, you can either download the free app onto your smartphone or tablet, or register on the website by visiting www.pushdoctor.co.uk. Once you have registered you can book an appointment, and the doctor can even do a video consultation with you, they can send prescriptions to a local pharmacy for you, issue sick notes or make referrals to other healthcare professions should they need to.
