We have teamed up with the PushDoctor network of south west GPs to be able to offer video consultations 7 days a week outside core hours (18:30-20:00 Monday -Friday and 08:00-20:00 Saturday and Sunday). These doctors are fully registered GPs and have full access to our clinical system. All you require is a smartphone to download the PushDoctor App with a camera and data connection.

To request a Pushdoctor video consultation you can do so in 2 ways:

• Calling the practice.
• Submitting an online medical request that will be seen by the surgery by the end of the next working day.

Our new online requesting system Patient Triage is a lot quicker to use than eConsult, however we would advise you to please view our updated Privacy Notice and Data Protection Impact Assessment prior to using for the first time. You can also request it via eConsult.

In order to request an appointment online for the weekend please request it by the end of the working day on the previous Thursday, leaving us good time to be able to send you the link on Friday that is then valid for 72 hours.

Please note- there is very good capacity for weekend PushDoctor video consultations (only 25% of capacity currently used!). Weekday evenings (18:30 – 20:00) are more popular (>90% capacity) so a weekend video consultation for a non-urgent problem is recommended.
