Important Patient Message

We would like to thank our patients in advance for being considerate. Please note that Covid-19 is hitting us harder now than during lockdown as NHS staff still have to isolate if Covid-19 positive and at least 30% of our staff are currently unable to be at work on site.

This is having a huge impact on all departments. Masks must still be worn in NHS settings. Face to face appointments remain subject to clinical triage to help maintain social distancing but we are able and willing to make adjustments according to accessibility needs.

We are trying our hardest to meet ever increasing demand post lockdown with on average over 250 incoming calls answered every day. Whilst trying to keep up with demand we have been faced with a significant increase in abuse from a minority of patients.

Please note that all calls made to and from reception are recorded and CCTV is in operation. We would like to remind you that we operate a zero tolerance policy and any abuse will be dealt with appropriately. We would like to thank you again for your consideration under current pressures.
